Description

An emulation of Scanner Vibrato units from 1950s/60s Hammond console organs. These work by crossfading between 9 sequential delay taps, and are grainier than your typical vibrato/chorus. This also makes them "lusher" in some contexts.

The "modes" switch is not just presets, it actually reconfigures the delay taps that are being used as pick-off points. The "Offset" sets the time of the fastest tap (tap 1), and the "Depth" Control sets the total range of the delay from the 1st tap to the last tap, although it should be noted that the last tap is only used in mode "III". Overlap increases the crossfade time between the taps, allowing them to bleed into each other. I have found that is reduces the impact of chorus tones, but can be nice for vibrato (when the "Mix" is at 100%).
