Description
This is a rotary speaker emulator that utilizes IRs captured from my Leslie 760 (Heil PR30 mics and UA 4-710d tube preamp).
The default parameters are in the "realistic" territory, so you should be able to use it out of the box, just toggling/automating the "Speed" control. This can easily be mapped to the modwheel of a keyboard using the "Expression Control" midi device in Ableton.
Of course, all of the parameters have a pretty healthy range of operation and wild and eclectic sounds can also be achieved.
This is part of a bigger project to capture all aspects of my tonewheel organ. The full Ableton "pack" of the Hammond L102 (includes the sampler instrument and all effects) is available for free at https://www.pianobook.co.uk/packs/hammond-l102/
(I can't host here due to size of library and filetype restrictions)
