Description
dl_granular_01~ is a stereo granular instrument for transforming audio held in a Max buffer into evolving textures, drones, and experimental sounds. It continuously creates overlapping grains, with controls for grain density and duration, playback position and scan, pitch variation, stereo spread, filtering, and distortion. Use it to turn a sample into a shifting atmospheric layer, add movement to sustained sounds, or build more unpredictable textures during a live set. It can produce up to 64 overlapping grains at once.
One €99 purchase includes all three formats: the VST3 plugin, the Max for Live instrument (.amxd) for Ableton Live, and the Max/MSP object. All formats require an Apple Silicon Mac (M1, M2, M3, M4, or later); they are not compatible with Intel Macs or Windows.
