Description
Rift by DWP — Multi-Track Glitch & FX Performance
Rift brings multiple Ableton Live tracks into one shared performance editor. Slide between four performance pads per track, lock a groove, or let Random explore new variations. Track names, colors and order follow your Live set, with four independent groups.
FEATURES
• Four controls plus Random per track, with beat, length, pitch, portamento, reverse probability, pan and gain.
• Glitch mode for repeating captured audio; FX Only for timed effects on incoming audio.
• Up to four effects in a chain, with eight effect snapshots per track.
• Fade, offset, input/output gain, dry/wet mix, Mix Pan and a pan LFO.
• Track, Controls and Effects presets, plus automation through the Max device.
• Optional Rift Remote Android app: control the performance pads over the same trusted local network, with synchronized track names, colors, groups and playing/pending states.
INSTALLATION / REQUIREMENTS
This is a Max for Live device that hosts the Rift plug-in. Install Rift using the macOS or Windows installer from the download page, including the Max for Live device and all supporting files. The AMXD alone is not sufficient. Requires Ableton Live with Max for Live and a compatible 64-bit macOS or Windows system.
The installers also include independent VST3 and AAX plug-ins for both platforms, plus Audio Unit on macOS. These provide single-track use without Max for Live. The shared multi-track workflow and Android remote require the Max for Live device.
PRICE / TRIAL
$59 USD. One Rift license covers the Max for Live and independent plug-in workflows. Ten-minute trial sessions are available; saving presets and project settings requires activation. Internet access is required for activation and periodic license validation.
Rift Remote 1.0.0 is available as a signed APK for Android 7.0+ on ARM64 devices.
