Description
Rain falls on invisible columns. Each column is a note. Each drop that hits the ground plays it.
midirain is a generative MIDI effect: put it in front of any instrument and shape the rain instead of writing notes.
• Density, Fall, Wind: how much it rains, how fast, at what angle
• Distance: far rain plays soft, close rain hits hard (sets the velocity range)
• Scale mode (11 scales, custom range) or Held mode: it rains on the chord you hold
• Sync to the grid from 1/32 to 1/2, with triplets, with Live playing or stopped
