Description
Keep the mix you love. Try the next idea.
Clookin Mix Snapshots gives you six mixer memories inside your Ableton Live Set. Store your balance, explore another direction, and recall a saved mix when you want it. I made this tool for my own music sessions, and I am sharing it free.
FEATURES
- Six independent slots with STORE, RECALL and CHECK.
- Stores volume, pan, sends and track activators for audio, MIDI, group and return tracks.
- Stores Master volume and pan.
- Snapshots stay with your song when you store them and save your Live Set.
- Export and import a snapshot bank as a separate JSON backup.
- One self-contained AMXD. The download ZIP includes installation instructions, user guide and release notes.
QUICK START
Extract the ZIP, copy the AMXD to your Ableton User Library, and drag it onto Master. Use one instance per Set. Press STORE in a slot to keep a mix, RECALL to restore it, and save your Live Set after storing.

COMPATIBILITY
Requires Ableton Live with Max for Live. Tested on Windows with Live 11.0 and Max 8.1.9. Other versions and macOS have not been tested.
Keep track names unique and stable for matching after reopening. Recall skips automated, disabled and frozen controls. Split-stereo pan requires the same pan mode. Plugin settings, solo, routing, clips and automation curves are not captured. Recall is sequential, not sample-accurate, and does not morph between mixes.
