Description

BeatSplit uses AI to split out mixed audio into individual tracks from different instruments. BeatSplit can split out vocals, drums, bass, and other instruments into 4 separate audio tracks from a mix. Individual audio stems can be downloaded and used as samples.

No need to go to websites to try to rip vocals or get an acapella track. With BeatSplit you can upload an audio clip and rip high-quality instruments, vocals, drums, or bass, all for free within Ableton.

This is v1.2 with a number of bug fixes and will be free until April 30th, 2024. We'll upload new versions as we finish working on them. Feel free to drop any questions in the comments.

Only works with .mp3 files and .wav, just drag and drop then wait for it to split.

    what to do if it gets to the end of the clip and still says "audio loaded, trying to split into stems...."? It stops at the end of the clip, I would think it would keep looping until it gets the data it needs. If we re-start it, does it know to keep listening? So far I haven't gotten anything out of it, it's just playing the track I drop - no separation for me so far.

    Hey Freddy! Just keep waiting, if it's a long clip then it will take some time for the stem split to happen. Load the audio in, then come back a few minutes later to check it :)

    first time i've used it a few days ago it worked beautifully on the last Nick Cave song (wild god), the whole song (over 5 minutes). Does it need to be a specific file format?... because i've tried a few other times with other files and it haven't worked (maybe i'm doing something wrong).
    I'll keep trying with smaller files and formats because the results seem very useful.

    [v1.2] is currently not working in Live 12, it can complete analyzing whatever song I drag in but all it will do is play it back in its original state. None of the Stem group's (Drum/Bass/Voc/etc.) boxes get loaded with any waveform or anything.
    I thought maybe I'd try a shorter (30s) song but it still hasn't produced any results.
    Is this because of the yellow message that appears in plugin window (Free Trial until 04/30/2024) which has obviously expired by now..? If so, I eagerly await version 1.3

    Excellent plugin. Nice job!
    I've been trying and playing with it a lot. It used to work with 7 min long songs (as far as I tried)
    But now it seems the party is over...
    When will be the party on fire again?
    Please, I need it ASAP.

    not sure if this even works. first time trying it, nothing happened and and ableton crashed. Next time, i used a smaller sized sample and still didnt work.
