Description

This is a lightweight nodejs based FTP server to make your standalone Push User Library available to access, if you are not in close proximity of a computer with Live on it, for me it is while travelling.

Once you put the device on the Push, you'll find it under Device > Max for Live > Audio Device,

It starts automatically, you can use any FTP client to connect with the push then using :

server: push.local

port : 9876

login: pushFTP

password: 12345

Once connected you can upload and download files to your push's user library without having a Ableton Live on your computer.

Note:

Currently it is not possible to download Projects from the Push.

Isn't using unencrypted ftp a huge security risk?

It generally is, if you are running the device in a network, in which the port 9876 is exposed for public use. Also the device is made for short term data transfer.

    This is wild.

Awesome idea! Great out of the box thinking.
