Description
A rendition of Korg's Poly-800, an 8-voice synth with 4 square wave oscillators (DCO) per voice. These are pitched in octaves and labeled using common organ terminology, i.e., 2, 4, 8, 16. There is a DCO1 and a DCO2. With the DCO2 enabled, the synth becomes 4-voice polyphonic but yields up to 8 oscillators per voice. DCO2 can also be detuned to add thickness to the sound. So, it's particularly good for leads and basses. Each DCO has a 5-stage envelope - attack, decay, slope, sustain, and release - as does the VCF. There is also a single LFO that can be applied to both the DCOs and the VCF. The only effect is chorus, which really helps to liven up the monophonic sound of the instrument.
