NOTE BUDDY is a Max for Live MIDI Effect that turns one note, pad, trigger, footswitch, or CC into a powerful musical control source inside Ableton Live.

One trigger in → chords, sequences, kit changes, Rack Chain Selector movement, presets, and tempo-synced ARPs out.

Designed for live performance, hybrid drumming, pad-based setups and fast MIDI writing, NOTE BUDDY lets you control more of Ableton Live with fewer gestures.

Trigger chords, step through scale notes, launch harmonic sequences, switch kits, move through Rack Chains, recall presets, or create tempo-synced ARP movement from simple MIDI input.

The built-in 16-slot preset system lets you save and recall complete NOTE BUDDY states directly from the device, making it easy to jump between songs, kits, patterns or live setups.

Useful for hybrid drummers, producers, keyboardists, live performers, sound designers, VJs and anyone working with Drum Racks, Instrument Racks, Chain Selectors or MIDI controllers.
