Description
This is an audiorate slice looper. Each Slice can take up a specified number of Beats Per Loop, independent of the number of Slices, BPM or Speed. It is a modified version of the core engine found in the GO book.
It has individual sequences for the Slicer and Reverser. These sequences are driven by either the internal Metronome or incoming Midi. Either way, it requires Live to be playing.
Additionally, you can select (automate) a Slice to loop using the Slice parameter. Its in percent because I couldn't figure out how to have an automatable parameter where the Maximum (the number of Slices) can change. If there are 4 slices, then 0-25% covers the 1st slice and so on.
It is also governed by the BPM. This can be slaved to Live or dialed in on your own, from 0.5 up to 1000.00 BPM.
Note: Unfortunately, there can be only one of these per Live set. For some reason, I can't get Gen~ subpatches to recognize auto scripted names. I've tried all of the usual tricks that I know of, but I don't know enough of them.
Share and Enjoy.
