as promised , the monome version of the IFS.
WORKS ONLY WITH MONOME64 & ARC2
IF YOU DON'T OWN A MONOME:
IT CAN BE FED WITH EXTERNAL MIDI,BUT LACKS THE PARAMETER CONTROL.

INVERSE FOURIER SYNTHESIZER.
FOR Monome 64 & Arc 2. Max for Live.
Integrated 16 step sequencer and parameter edit for each step/row.
Uses a Leibniz/Geometric series to obtain harmonic data which is passed to the ifft to compute audio signal.
{i use the 0 to 7 rows/columns notation [x,y]=[column,row];left to right, top to bottom}
1.connect m64 & arc2
2.press twice [7 0] (8th button 1st row)
3.select page with [1 0] , [2 0].
4. [0 2] only sequencer mode
5. [0 3] enable edit note pitch using arc: 1st knob row 2nd knob value.press [0 6] to confirm the value.
6. [0 4] enable Parameter mode:
1.select row (pressing one of the
sequencer rows -> row 1 to 7,any
column).
2.select parameter number on the
first arc knob [1-4 ADSR ,5-6
harmonic parameters] , second knob
sets the value.
3.press [0 6] to confirm value.
7. [0 7] enable Delete mode for notes on the sequencer.
1.press once to enable.
2.press the note you wish to eliminate [works even if you
change page with (3.)]
3.press [0 7] again to quit Delete mode.
8. edit any other parameter on the synth (careful with the init.gain and volume).
9.have fun!
Bugs: the sequencer timing dial is a bit tricky.
