Description

This is just a visual metronome for times when playing to a click track is not desirable.

Click on the dial to pop out to a floating window.

Version 2.0 uses 'plugsync~' instead of calls to the api. Hopefully less CPU load.

Thanks very helpful. but how can i make the floating window a lot smaller? and from 4 to 16 beats? that would be awesome.

Tomatoe, I'm looking for a device that can do a count on the global quantization setting. For example, if the GQ is set to 8 bars, the device will display some kind of countdown (like the pie graphs at the bottom of tracks in Ableton's session view). So if the GQ is set to 8 bars, it would just keep counting down (or up) to 8 bars and then starting over. The purpose of this is to be able to see onstage when the next (globally quantized) clip will start recording. Your metronome device is the closet thing I've found - with its large pop out window.
Any chance you'd consider creating a similar device to this purpose?
    Thanks!

Love the code, But how do you make it so the circle doesn't start "in the middle" of the cycle?
