Description

-LemuBara Sampler-

Update 1.1

Now you can drag folders on the Drop box. Paths are also saved when you save the live project.

You have two umenu objects for each layer so drop a folder containing folders with your wav or aiff files inside.

if you want to save the function object (envelopes) use the save button of the preset object.

This is excellent. Is there a reason the folders and envelopes don't save with a Live set? It looks like all the other parameters DO save. Cheers,

Can't load samples in this update. The first release Lemubara Sampler 1.0
works perfect (and I love it!). Anyone?
    MacBook Pro, 10.6.2. Live 8.1.1.

Hi john, now to load samples drop a folder with folders inside into the drop box. I give you an example:
Create a folder called Lemubara, inside this create differen folders, for example:
    Pads (wav or aiff inside)
    Snares (wav or aiff inside)
    Voices (wav or aiff inside)
Drop the folder Lemubara into the drop box object.
Now you have 2 menus, in the first one you will see the folders (Kicks, snares, voices) and in the second the samples contained in the folder you have selected.
Please tell us if it works. We will upload all the previous versions of our devices to our website www.leubaratools.es asap.
    Cheers!

Still unable to load soundfiles in the update of your excellent patch. I tried on my older Mac but it behaved in the same way. Maybe something to do with language specific OS (Swedish OS X?), I don't know. Don't bother to much for now but thank you for the response. I have tons of fun with 1.0!

Hi again John and thanks for your words.
This patch was developed with Ableton Live 8.1.3 and Max/Msp 5.1.4. Both versions have been released few days ago so maybe this could be the problem. We supose that a language specific OS is not a limitation.
Please leave a us a comment if you find the solution.
    Cheers!

I wasn't able to drag a folder to the drop box in the 1.1.0 version. When I drag an audio file to one, the cursor looks like it wants to add it, but then nothing shows up. Are there specific instructions or folder names that must be exact? My specs:
Mac Book Pro, Mac OS X 10.6.3 US English, Live Suite 8.1.3, Max for Live 5.1.4

Thanks for the reply. I was able to get samples to show up in v1.1.0 by dragging the folders from the Finder rather than Live's Library browser column. I was NOT able to have the folders save as a preset (and I didn't try to save the Live set).

Hi nofi, we did the 1.1 update to save the folders in the Live set. We will try to fix this issue in the next update.
    Cheers!

Wow!   Finally just spend the time to figure this thing out - what a masterpiece!   Anyone having trouble with dropping samples - I think the key is you have to drop a folder on the "drop" box that contains other folders.   Then click in the first dropdown to choose which sub folder you're after.   The bottom folder should then show all the samples in that sub folder (for me, the samples don't show up until I click that first dropdown a couple of times and choose the subfolder).
Amazing work - this is a creative gem!  Thanks for sharing (14 years later! - It's still got it!)
