Description
GrainClouder is a granular synthesiser meant as a performance tool. The granular process is kept pretty basic offering only access to the main controls of the synthesis process - like grain size, density, grain position - but it also incorporates a visual aspect which works almost in the same way as the sound production. A video or image sample is being smeared from all 4 sides according to the sound parameters and how they are manipulated. The more clear and recognisable the sound, the more recognisable the picture as well.
