Description

This MIDI device is used to split a MIDI chord dynamically.

If you play a chord on your MIDI keyboard, it will pass for example only 2 lowest notes of the chord, or the 3 highest ones.

If you use it on two different MIDI tracks sharing the same MIDI input, you can dynamically split your keyboard and control two virtual instruments with one chord voicing.

    This is amazing!
Thanks to this I've managed to create an orchestral tracks setup, that allows me to play one chord and it gets automatically split among cellos, violias and violins. Thanks to ableton routing it is possible to record each modified track separately, so that I can clean up the recordings afterwards and keep each instrument track separately (I might post a tutorial about this one day).
Tip: if you stack this device one after another it is possible to choose only middle note or have really crazy combinatons of auto arrangement.
    Thank you GuillaumeBertrand for this!
