Description
When using Drum Racks with the External Instrument device, muted Pads still send MIDI. This results on the instrument still being heard, even if its corresponding Pad is muted.
Another common scenario is when using return chains inside the Drum Rack, where, for example, you'd still hear the Reverb of a muted Pad.
To fix both above scenarios, simply drop this device on every non-empty Drum Rack chain. MIDI will be blocked if the Drum Rack chain is muted, or if another chain is soloed.

First he feedback: in Live 11 it doesn't work (more on that later). In Live 10 it works but doesn't stop MIDI being picked up by other midi tracks that are set to "listen" to the drum rack's pads.
But, perhaps this is soon to be a moot issue (see what I did there?) as I've tested Drum Racks in Live 11 and they (at least according to my testing) have been updated so that MIDI is also muted and this also fixes the problem with the internal sends and returns. Alas the problem as described above (let's call it internal MIDI muting across tracks) still persists.
Whether in Live 11 this also fixes the issue when working with external gear I don't know, but I'd assume so.
Next we just have to hope for cueing in drum racks and then we're good!
