Please read this to make the most of BigText!

NEW in version 1.3:

Updated functionality: BigText now displays scene-related text only when the scene is launched.

redesigned scene detection: the device now detects the last launched scene, which means Scene Follow actions in Live 11 are now supported!

window size&position is saved with the Live set!

BigText is a Max for Live device that pops up a window containing custom text, such as performance notes, cues, chord progressions, lyrics, you name it!

INSTRUCTIONS:

Insert the BigText device into any track

Click on the Popup button to open the text window

Start the Live transport (press play)

Launch the desired scene

Edit the text in the BigText window

Repeat steps 4 & 5 for any scene

When launching scenes, the text will be recalled automatically!

The window is freely resizable and supports multiline text.

KNOWN ISSUES:

For the scene detection algorithm to work, Live's transport must be running.

Upon first opening the device, the user must manually click the Default window position button in order for the window to display properly. This is due to my current coding skill limitations, but rest assured this will be solved in the next version!
