Description

TechnoGAN is an AI Neural Network, trained to generate looping quarter-note techno-like samples.

TechnoGAN sampler is a Max for Live device that interfaces with the TechnoGAN generator application. The device works as a Max for Live instrument and integrates well into the Ableton workflow. It also allows to export generated samples as wavefiles for other uses.

Note for Mac Users: For the time being, OsX support is very limited. None of the code is signed and there might be a compatibility issue with the tensorflow library. There is very high probability the generator will not run at all on Macintosh - I'm looking into it.

    really interrsting device. Can't get it to work on my Mac though (the generator won't run). Hope you can find a way to make it run!

    @johan - I got it to run on my intel Mac just recently.   I had to go through and remove each file within the exe.macos folder from quarantine (not every single file but a lot of them).   If you see this and this is the issue you're running into (when you go to install the generator app - you're getting errors saying developer not verified, etc) - let me know and I'll show you how to fix.   I have an app that came with another VST where you drag the files into this box to remove the quarantine.  It's a pain in the ass - it took probably 30 mins to complete but I think it was worth it for this device!

    Can't get it to run on my intel mac running Live 12.2.... I was really looking forward to creating some sick drums.
