Resonator (karplus) audio effect, you can you any type of sound and make it resonate with chords played on midi.

Care, sound can grow fast, start with short burst, and let softclip toggle on to begin.

07/02 new : damp in buffer feedback path, changed dc filter for more low end, comb filter can be modulated with lfo

    Oops I didn't think about presets yet, but I just tried and it seems to work on my computer. Does it crash every time or just with special settings ?
    I'll try to work on that.

    I just tried to use this on Ableton 10.1.4 on a midi and audio track.
    I adjusted every single parameter and wasnt able to get a signal to pass thru it all. Dry/wet nothing made a difference. Just killed the signal. Odd.

    Hello irishmos, did you map the midi input in the middle ?
    I didn't try it on live 10 so I will give it a shot !

    okk I checked on Ableton 10 and the problem is you can't map the midi because the process didn't exist.. I think you can use it by pressing the keys in the center, but it isn't automatisable so maybe I will change it to be usable as the Ableton resonator for the Live 10 users.

    I tried pressing the keys with mouse but that didn't work either. Hope you can get it working for 10!

    Hmm that's weird, does it kill the signal even full dry ?
    I tried on live 10 and it works with the keys, what version of max do you use ?

    In my opinion this is the best working(!) midi-controlled polyphonic resonator fx device out there.
    Although the interface is a bit clunky and overloaded.
    May I edit this device to give it a more "default ableton device"-look and send it to you?

    Hey haha, yes it was my first device and I must admit it's pretty awful. That would be awesome if you find the time, thank you !
