Description

Based on "LXR drum 1-3 editor" by user dru93

This midi device allows you to edit Voice 2 parameters on LXR 01 drum machines running the standard Sonic Potions Firmware (Tested on version 0.37).

This device uses both the CC and NRPN parameters. Unfortunately, the standard Sonic Potions firmware uses Midi CC 132 for the "LFO Amount" parameter for Voice 2. This is a reserved CC number used for Global "Note Off" commands and is used in a number of DAWs including Ableton. Ableton continually sends a "0" value on this CC for every note and CC event - effectively making the parameter unusable.

For this device the LFO from Voice 3 is used as the "standard" LFO to modulate Voice 2. Subsequent LXR voice devices in this series will "borrow" the LFO from the next voice to account for this. This does NOT affect the device for Voice 1.

Note: The current version of the device doesn't include a menu with explicit values for the Velocity EG Destination. A future version of this device will include an explicit drop-down menu for the destinations. The device scrolls through destinations via the dial. You will need to reference the LXR LCD screen to confirm your modulation destination in the meantime.
