Description

An easy-to-use clipping tool designed for transparent loudness optimization and creative distortion in Ableton Live. Combines surgical digital processing with analog-inspired saturation for mastering engineers and sound designers.

Key Features:

Input Drive: Adjust pre-clipping gain (±15dB), positive values drive the signal harder into the clipper stage, increasing distortion characteristics.

Ceiling Control: Set clipping thresholds from -20 to 0dBFS, guarded by intersample peak (ISP) detection.

Shape Morph: Continuously variable curve shaping from harsh digital hard-clip to vintage-style soft saturation.

Optimized 5x Oversampling: Linear-phase upsampling minimizes aliasing artifacts while maintaining transient integrity. Toggle between "On" and "Off" .

Solo Engine: Isolate clipped signal for precise artifact monitoring and surgical adjustments.

Post-Clipping Limiter: Optional true-peak compliant brickwall limiter with 1ms lookahead for final safety.

Dual-Waveform Scope: Visualize dry/wet signal comparison with adjustable timebase (1 to 5 sec) and overlay opacity.
