Description

Our third MIDI Toolset is built to streamline production, spark inspiration, and deploy advanced compositional strategies directly inside Live 12’s MIDI Clip Editor via four creative MIDI Generators and eight unique MIDI Transformations.

Unfurl expansive polycyclic patterns with Metagrid, generate longform evolving sequences using Metaloom, juggle complex rhythms with Rematrix, and transform visual noise into dynamic polyphonic or melodic gestures with Scantron.

Then reshape MIDI with eight transformation tools. Collapse polyphonic material into focused monophonic patterns with a variety of algorithms using Monotizer, while Multiswap and Paraswap offer intricate probabilistic pitch and parameter remapping.

Use Quantographer to devise unusual grooves. Redefine expressive ranges with Refractor. Quickly convert mismatched pitch and velocity maps with Replacer. Generate controlled randomization and phrased variations at musical intervals via Seeker, and uvse Teleport to probabilistically relocate notes across a clip based on pitch, velocity, and timing.

All MIDI Tools are scale-aware and Info View annotated, delivering precision and depth for forward-thinking workflows.
