Description

This Max for Live Device is the sibling to One and Done, my previous MIDI gate-like device. Like One and Done, Opener is intended as a live performance tool. Instead of allowing a single midi note to pass and then closing, in ONCE mode, Opener opens when triggered and never closes. Or play it in TOGGLE mode to toggle it opened and closed. Trigger the opening and closing with an assigned note. Then the option is available to play the note and velocity passing through the gate as is or to trigger a generated note with velocity and duration. Additionally passing notes can be filtered by up to four individual notes or within a range.
