What is this?

Last EQ is a console-style equalizer for Ableton Live that places particular emphasis on sound quality.

It features two distinct Equalizer models, each designed to reproduce the response of classic studio hardware. The filter curves have been carefully measured and recreated, while the interface reflects the character and workflow of the units we have come to love.

Internal oversampling is used to reduce frequency cramping near the Nyqvist limit, allowing the filters to maintain a more natural, analogue-style behavior across the spectrum. In practice, this means fewer compromises and a smoother top end — without the need to open a separate VST plugin. Simply remain inside Ableton Live and work without interruption.

For visual feedback, the device also includes a foldable EQ curve analyzer, which can be expanded or hidden as required, keeping the interface both informative and unobtrusive.
