A working Max for Live implementation of hardware-style VCA groups for Ableton Live. Accurate delta tracking, overflow handling, and cold-start group registration — all solved.

Currently unusable in production sessions due to an Ableton API limitation that floods Undo history on every fader move. Released free with full source code and measured fader curve data. If you've found a workaround for the Undo problem, we want to hear from you.

    have you tried reaching out to other devs? Im sure you have, but there has to be someone out there who knows a workaround! I'll keep an eye out.

    Regarding the undo issues:
    We don't have an issue with the undo history in ya_Fader, which carries the same functionality with a slightly different UI approach.

    Hi! This is it! This is exactly what the Ableton was missing. Could you do something similar, but make it possible to map for example, the volume knob in the some Utility devices on different tracks? (to avoid using the main volume slider on tracks)

    Please have a look at our ya_Fader that does exactly what you are looking for if you put the device inside a Rack -> relative Volume automation. The Fader then says untouched.
