Description
Rainbow is a frequency domain processing effect. It splits its input into frequency bins, and operates on these. Besides spectral dynamics processing, it has a range of frequency domain effects, and features 2 linear phase EQs, one applied to the dynamics processing Source and one to the Output.
It covers a range of applications, including spectral compression and expansion, parametric equalization, broadband noise reduction, sidechain ducking, pitch shifting, and sound design with its various spectral effects.
Some of the features are:
- Frequency domain compression/expansion
- Spectral gating
- Linear phase EQ + brickwall filters
- Threshold frequency response (Tilt and Curve)
- Frequency display with gain and frequency grid zoom
- Resizable window display
