Description

EZLOOPER — DJ-style transitions for hardware live sets

Switching patterns or patches on stage usually means a drop in energy.

EZLOOPER fixes that the way a DJ would: press CAPTURE and it records the

audio that is currently playing into a perfectly bar-aligned loop (1/2/4/8/16

bars, sample-accurate, locked to Live's transport) — and the instant the

recording completes, the loop TAKES OVER AUTOMATICALLY. The hand-over is

rendered inside the DSP with sample-accurate complementary ramps: no clicks,

no change in tone, the audience hears nothing. Your instrument "leaves the

stage" — switch patterns, swap presets, re-patch your modular — then blend

back in like a DJ: channel mutes, two faders with real dB scales, dual

3-band kill EQ, and a beat-synced FX section to wash over the seam.

FEATURES

• One-button, bar-locked capture: ARM → REC → LOOP, fully automatic

• AUTO TAKE: click-free, sample-accurate hand-over rendered in the DSP

• DJ-deck channel logic: on take-over the loop inherits the live channel's

full EQ + fader state (sounds identical), while the live channel comes

back muted, faded down, inheriting the outgoing channel's EQ — like two

decks trading places; your kill-EQ moves never cause a jump

• Per-channel mute buttons (lit amber = on air) with "off-air" gray metering

— see the new pattern running before you bring it in

• Two DJ-style vertical channel faders (LIVE / LOOP), squared taper

• Dual 3-band kill EQ with a Pioneer-DJM-style gain law (centre flat,

+6 dB boost, progressive cut to full kill, true-dB readout)

• FX: Echo, Dub Echo, Flanger, Phaser, Reverb (FDN), DJ Filter (LP/HP sweep)

• TIME knob follows the FX type: beat divisions for echo (1/16…2/1),

LFO period for flanger/phaser (1/4…32 beats), decay for reverb (0.3…12 s),

LP/HP cutoff sweep for the filter

• FX channel assign (DEST): Live / Loop / Master, post-fader sends —

per-channel echo-out works exactly like on a DJ mixer

• Everything is a Live parameter — map any MIDI controller with Ctrl/Cmd+M,

no controller scripts needed (tip: use Pick-Up takeover mode for faders

and Relative mode for endless encoders)

• Works with any sound source: hardware synths, grooveboxes, Overbridge,

guitars, vocals, plug-ins

USAGE

Drop it after your instrument on its audio track, press play, and CAPTURE.

Full manual included.

NOTES

Designed for 4/4. Live's transport must be running. One instance per set.

The loop is a live tool and is not saved with the set.
