Description

Just a very simple sequencer with no transport reset in order to quickly create different pattern ideas (initially because I couldn't figure out how to, but now I enjoy the quirk XD).

Has pitchshifters for polyphonic instruments.

The "Length" parameter is cool for jamming or automation. I did try with a seperate sequencer lane for the note length, but I found it to be less intuitive of an experience, which is the opposite intention of this device for me. Or rather of sticking somewhat to its initial simplicity, since it's based on a device from a beginner friendly tutorial (I added the pitchshifters, changed the layout a bit, made it to my own UI preferences and reduced the choices of pattern lengths to what I found most useful. Not sure if it's considered a mod, when it's heavily based on a basic tutorial and not actually a modification of a released device).

I mainly enjoy using it for quick groovy 8-step techno patterns :D

Just beware of changing to a shorter pattern length, because if going back to a longer one, this'll have reset all the other notes not present with the shorter length. Idk yet how to prevent that from happening, but it could be used as a way to quickly reset notes to 0 at once, since I don't have that functionality build in. So maybe the device is actually fine as is, if embracing its quirks. The user can always mod the device to their own preferences ofc. That's one of the cool thing about M4L devices :)
