Description

New version July 2015. DRK LIVEPIANO is a MIDI piano keyboard emulator with two independent keyboards, one for each hand, from a simple QWERTY computer keyboard. It is useful to play alive, in a situation where you have no MIDI keyboard, or want to play just with your computer to play performance or to record your ideas. With pianistic functions like 2 modes of SUSTAIN emulated pedal and variable playing velocity (humanize mode)

NEW IN 1.1 VERSION=

- MIDI KEYBOARD MONITOR= NOW YOU CAN ALSO VIEW THE PRESSED KEYS FROM EXTERNAL MIDI KEYBOARD AND-OR FROM ABLETON CLIPS ON THE UPPER KEYBOARD

- YOU CAN PLAY AND RECORD WITH THE MOUSE ON THE UPPER KEYBOARD. MIDI VELOCITY CHANGES DEPENDS ON THE ZONE OF THE KEY YOU PRESS.

- SOME KEYS RE-ASSIGNED DUE TO FIXED MAPPING ON ABLETON 9.x TO INTERNAL FUNCTIONS (1 instead of q to first ipper piano key, k instead of enter to PANIC)

I made this plugin because Live lacks one as plugin, also because the internal Live keyboard in MIDI play mode is not complete for me, and finally to have the features I expected form this kind of device:

- The possibility to play different lines with both hands, even different sounds on each (splitting). You have an example of splitting in one of my Live templates

- Visual keyboard

- The possibility to choose the notes every key plays, so you can build your own scales, octave settings or modes and store them as presets.

- Basis (fixed) velocity and randomness (custom depth) to humanize it.

- Sustain pedal fixed and temporary
