Description

V2/ Bug fixed

This device allow you to re-arrange the curve of a slider/knob.

Midi map a slider/knob to Funktion In and map a parameter by clicking map and then the parameter.

Draw a new curve, it will be saved with your live set.

You can make your drawing easier by setting a grid for X and Y, zooming X/Y/return to 100% and clearing.

Enjoy and share !

    Hey,
I REALLY want to use this but but I think there's a bug in the version you posted. I'm using live 9.1 with Max 6 and the On and Map buttons from the screen shot aren't there when I load it up. Am I missing something or could you post a version that has these buttons activated?

The MAP button is not present — making the device unfortunately worthless. I would love to use this device — please update it! Thank you.

is it possible to control only one parameter?
  • bilaldeledakrew · December 15 2014
hhecka, i don't understand your question because this device is made to control only one parameter and re-arrange the curve
It can't control by itself more than one parameter so the answer is yes !

Thanks, this works great, but there's one small (or rather large) problem.
When using this device, UNDO no longer works in Live 9!
See here for more info, seems like a lot of people are having similar problems with M4L devices:

Any advice for adapting this to control knobs in an Audio device or rack?
  • bilaldeledakrew · November 02 2016
@gburks Even if it's a MIDI effect, you can put it in a MIDI track and control a parameter everywhere in your live set, even in audio tracks.
If you don't want to use this trick, you can open my plug-in in MaxForLive, copy all the architecture (you can see it clicking on Unfreeze device and Patching Mode) except Midi IN and MIDI Out objects and paste this in an empty "Max For Live Audio Effect".
Then you have your GRID FUNKTION Audio Effect ! Because this device don't use any midi or audio input, it will work the same

Hey man great work, could you add more Map buttons to map more than 1 parameters ?
  • pranavakazack · December 16 2016
And have the ability to change ranges for each of those parameters ? So that each page represents the graph for each parameter mapped to it.

i can't get this to work properly with automation. i've mapped the in value of two of these to a macro knob and it worked properly when turned manually but as soon as i tried automating the macro knob everything went in slow motion. the automation would finish but the output of the funktion objects would still be less than halfway through its progression. any idea why this might be?
