Description
Greetings! This is my first device developed for M4L, any comments questions and suggestions are welcome! So here we go....
My 'Kenton Glide Device' is designed to give users of the KENTON PRO SOLO MK2 an on screen, automate-able tool for controlling the Glide features of the Pro Solo! The glide rate is usually controlled by increments on the Pro Solo's panel, but now uses a live.dial device for automapping to an APC40. Similarly, a second live.dial device controls the Glide On/Off in the Portamento Program Change Mode. The following settings on your Kenton Pro Solo MK2 should help you get started.
Kenton Settings
P5 = Program Change [PC]
P6 = Maximum Porta #
P7 = Fixed Rate
-In this setting of P5, the Porta On/Off is controlled by a Program Change, 1 = On 2 = Off
-Maximum Porta range is still Controlled by the value of P6 on the Kenton
-P7 Changes between fixed rate and fixed time, either work, I find fixed rate works best with my Moog setup.
-Portamento Time is carried as a CC message on MIDI spec standard CC#5 Porta Time
Dial One in the patch Controls Porta Time between 0-127
Dial Two in the patch Controls On/Off by being set to a maximum range of 1-2 as defined in the inspector for this device...
These notes are 'hidden' in the patch and further routing are visible by Unlocking the Max Patch
Revisions, Notes, Questions and Comments are welcome for the further development of this, my first shared M4L Device!
