This is a plugin in max for live format wich shows you the transport time in three different formats: musical time, clock time and SMPTE video time.

It borns as a help for an excercise from a MAX student I have who needed bar and beats from Live in order to trigger some random tecno kicks at precise moments.

So if you are a max programmer maybe it is useful for you to rip it from my patch to have the option of capturing exact moments with conditionals objects, for example.

As i changed the standard function on the transport object, it also follows the Ableton time even in stop mode, so you can move the cursor and watch the details of the position in various formats all the time.

And it support transpor tmonitor even using automation of the values.

Musical time: you get the time signature, BPM tempo, bar, pulse and subpulse in Ableton manner (the first subpulse time is number one) and in the way mostly all other software works (the first subpulse time is zero).

In this zone you can watch 1/16 (as in Ableton) but also in 1/8 and in 1/8 tuplets, using two decimal places (float) to get more exact position.

Clock time: you get hour, minutes, seconds and 1-1000 second.

Video SMPTE time: hour, minute, second and some standard frame formats: 24, 25, 29.97, 30. In addition you have a window to type the frame rate you want to match your video.

ON-OFF switch: freezes current monitor and reduces CPU uses if are not to going to use it anymore.
