Hey. I've only tested it on the normal (old) one. But I don't see why it shouldn't work. Did you set the track the device is in to send midi to the launchpad?

Works fine with my Launchpad S, make sure you got the Launchpad Output on in the preferences in Live.

Ahh user error ;)
Many thanks, hadn't set the output to the launchpad.
