Description

The original is the set of Max4live devices by David Butler, created for DMX control. I have optimised a set of instruments for more convenient work with DMX.

EXCITING FEATURES:

Utilising Ableton as a powerful sequencer, midi/audio processing machine you can:

- easily match your show's BPM and intervals with real time stage music

- control your DMX values by automations both in SESSION view (in clips) and in ARRANGEMENT view. Predefined automation shapes (sin, squ, saw, etc) are available since Ableton version 10.1.0 which is very handy.

- control your DMX values in neverending way by using Max4live realtime generative instruments, such as LFO, Shaper, Randomiser etc.

- create audio "silent" patterns in order to read them with Envelope Follower and then finally map them to DMX values. This feature is really insane and gives millions of creative possibilities.

- control your DMX blinks and flashes by triggering them from your Drum Rack (the same way as you do with your audio). Use optionally a hardware step sequencer like Ableton Push or NI Machine Jam to make it on the fly.

- receive a real time audio signal from stage, extract what you need and trigger your DMX values accordingly. Full audio sensitive performance.

This version changes:

- channels have text edit above it to make a short note which fixture function is assigned

- channels have common integer values from 0 to 255

- 4 layouts available (1ch, 6ch, 12ch, 18ch). Stack them one after another if your fixture requires more.
