Description
A chord generating device based on the Chord module (V1) from Qu-Bit Electronix.
Chordial MIDI is a MIDI effect that outputs four different MIDI notes quantized to a variety of chord shapes.
Features:
- Two velocity modes: Key mode (incoming velocity is passed along to all four chord voices), or Slider mode (incoming velocity is ignored and the outgoing velocity for each chord voice is set by a slider).
- Drone mode for...drones. Key mode for traditional monophonic playing.
- 4 different chord voicings: Close, Drop 2, Drop 3 and spread.
- 4 different chord inversions: Root, 1st, 2nd, and 3rd.
- 4 different chord qualities: Major, Minor, and two user selectable qualities (sus2, sus2maj7, sus4, sus4maj7, dominant, half-diminished).
- Voice toggles for turning individual chord voicings on and off.
- A simple MIDI delay section that allows you to program strums, arpeggios, etc. The MIDI delay times can be synced to your project tempo or set freely in milliseconds.
