Description

This free package contains two Max-for-Live devices that offer the ability to add notes and comments to a track and can be used with Ableton Live Suite version 10 and 11.

The two devices are identical, except MXL Scratchpad can be used at the beginning of MIDI tracks (before audio instruments) and MXL Scratchpad~ can used in audio tracks (or in MIDI tracks, but after audio instruments). Both devices are “transparent” to MIDI or audio signals, thus they can be inserted in the middle of the device chain of a track without affecting the track in any way.

Unlike Live built-in note feature, the Scratchpad devices allow you to spice-up your notes in a variety of ways, changing background color, font name, size, color, use bold or italic, and more.
