Description

The Scalebend-o-Tron transforms Pitchbend-Data into successions of discrete MIDI-notes.

Its basic use is to facilitate glissando experiments. However, if you hook it up to percussive sounds, it's also capable of turning your pitch stick (or wheel) into a rhythm machine. A trill engine (controlled via Mod Wheel by default) enables you to create rolls or trills.

If you need tonal control, it’s provided by the scale quantizer. Aside user scales and a selection of preset scales/modes, it features a "remote" mode: note data is fetched from any MIDI-track that contains the „Bend-o-Tron Transmitter“ device.
