Description

akatovo is free harmonic distortion plugin based on a module in 'ppooll' - based on the +chebyshev~ module in MaxMSP.

+chebyshev~ is a distortion unit which uses various low-order chebyshev polynomials (1,2,3,4,5,7) to add even or odd harmonic distortion.

Harmonics are added using corresponding polynomial (ie. p3 adds the 3rd harmonic).

Very interested in gearing what this device can do, but currently no output here either, Ableton 11.1 on Catalina. =)

Huh sorry guys everything works on my end. Try installing Max 8 if you don't have it already, that might fix it but give me a day or so. My bad.

very interesting that someone here is familiar with "ppooll" ... would be very interested if someone could "convert" ppooll's "flop" (or a smiliar working/sounding free-form-looper) to "max for live" (especially in a way that you could really "compose" with a freeform-looper inside a daw [something I have been really missing for years]) ... @kkrainer _>> feel free to contact me, if you are interested in cooperating in such a project ([email protected]).
