Description

I bought a MIDI Go Box MK2 second hand which was not set up for Ableton control and it only sent MSC / PC messages. This device converts the sysex MSC messages to MIDI notes for full Ableton control assignment.

You can assign different Notes to the different buttons / MSC commands and also control the velocity and duration of the Note On.

This utilises the IAC driver. Setup PDF's available in the link for both Windows and Mac.

This might work for other MSC devices to convert to MIDI notes to control Ableton but my knowledge on it is limited and I am unable to test, perhaps leave a comment if it worked for you?

This was only made possible by head scratching and historic forum threads by other people and kind contributors solving their problems which gave me ideas on how to do this, so please use as you'd like to and at your own risk.
