Description
KORDARP is a compact composition tool that can produce random arpeggio’s and/or note repeats from chord inputs according to its settings. Rather than most standard arpeggiators, it can produce different note lengths based on their respective weight.
First, set the parameters on the left side of the interface: cycle length and weighted randomness, chord size and maybe the random gate.
Next, choose 1 to 4 subdivision values (on the right - via the tiny on/off switches) and their individual weights.
Then start experimenting with the parameters below.
Btw, the “frzrnd” button lets you stick to a chosen setting.
Years ago, I programmed KORDARP to write a work for live chamber orchestra and I haven’t used it ever since, so please don’t request me to debug the device ;-)
