Description

This is a COPY of the Tetra Master Controller 1.01 (see https://maxforlive.com/library/device.php?id=1360) that adds Ableton Push (and Push 2) support. Edit your DSI Tetra directly from Push. So good...

The original author is @atari5200. I've merely added banks of controls for Push.

Oops. I accidentally uploaded a broken version (patch not frozen in MaxMSP). It's resolved now. Thank you.

It works well also with the Mopho. But sometimes is freezes and I have to reload the max device. Does it happen with the tetra as well?
Also it’s super nice to control this little synth from the push! Thanks

I've not experienced any freezes yet. But I've only spent maybe 6-7hrs with it.
Great to hear that it works with the Mopho!

Maybe it’s because of the Mopho not being 100% the same? But it’s not bidirectional so it makes no sense.
Also how hard would it be to have the max device load patches from the hardware? It would be extremely cool if it could revive and send patches so the knobs would reflect the state of the synth.

@n0ael Agree, this would be super duper cool and I would love this, too.
Sadly I think that the only way to do this is to parse the SysEx information that is sent from the synth when it changes patches. This SysEx is entirely different kind of data to the NRPN/CC data that this Max device sends to the synth.
    Therefore... not straightforward I'm afraid.

I which I would understand better how max and midi work. But there is maby a something that could help. There is a free ctrlr mapping for the Mopho with the possibility to send end load patches. It’s super nice but I prefer still your way to control the synth via push 2. Maby someone genius is able to expand the functionality for bidirectional control… I think I would sell the Mopho and get the Tetra :)

Just wanted to say a big thakyou. All the banks appear perfectly on Push 3. I have been looking for someing to edit my Tetra from Push - since the demise of PrEditor 2 when Live 12 was released.
