Description

A device that automatically turns on solo for the current track based on whether any other track has solo turned on. It is enabled by default and can be manually disabled. It automatically turns itself off when the current track is frozen.

This is a different take on and is inspired by the original Solo Safe device.

Super cool device, I did a Midi Version of it, I hope that's fine!

That's great! I'm happy you were able to use the ideas here.

This device made my day! Using Expert Sleepers Usamo to send clock to all external devices and if you solo an external device with the arpeggiator in sync mode on without also soloing the Usamo channel, nothing will be playing. Works like a charm now - never having to click twice again! Thanks!

Very cool device. I use it on the MIDI tracks for my Virus TI which sends its audio to tracks in other group. Thank you!
One annoyance with it, though, is that it selects the track that the device is on whenever soloing something.
Would this be possible to avoid?

I second this. Would be great if it wouldn't jump to that whenever you press solo

Hello, sorry to bug but this device doesn’t work now since the 12.3 Ableton update.
Would be awesome if it could be resolved. It's vital cog for me - Thanks in advance

Oh man, sorry to hear that. It's been quite a while since I fiddled with M4L and I haven't upgraded my Live version at all. Not sure how I can fix this.
