It is made of two (barely modified) grainfreeze devices, combined into a dual device for Monome.

You can easily figure out how the monome controls the devices by testing while looking at m4l interface, I will go further in next releases with manual and upgrades, you can start by keeping in mind that Monome is split in 2 identical 8X8 grids
