Description

Tempest is a midi utility for Dave Smith's and Roger Linn's Tempest analog drum machine with Ableton Live.

You can control the parameters that are available on the Tempest. The tempest os used is 1.5.0.2

The parameters are:

- Distortion

- Compression

- Revert Beat FX params to defaults

- Beat FX All Osc Frequency

- Beat FX Feedback

- Beat FX Lowpass Filter Cutoff

- Beat FX Lowpass Filter Resonance

- Beat FX Lowpass Filter Audio Mod

- Beat FX Highpass Filter Cutoff

- Beat FX All Env Attack

- Beat FX All Env Decay

New parameters added with version 3.0

Four midi modulation sources : midi pitch bend, mod wheel, breath and expression

The virtual pads displays both bank A and B. These pads are clickable and send midi notes, the MIDI notes used in this device are a chromatic scale from C0 to G2 (assigned from pad A1 to pad B16). Be aware that C0 received and sent by the Tempest is a C2 for Ableton Live, so you must set up your tempest according to that scale in the system preferences.You must set midi output of your track or external instrument according to MIDI Remote Pad IN Channel in Tempest's system preferences.
