Description

This MIDI device lets you to map up to 16 external controller knobs, slider, buttons, etc to 16 parameters within any Live device further down the path. It has 4 banks of 4 controller/parameter slots.

To assign a MIDI controller, click the Map button on the left and move, slide, click your controller, then click the Map button on the right to arm the parameter selection mode -- click a parameter in a Live device and the parameter is automatically mapped. The button on the far right is to clear a parameter mapping. You'll figure the rest out.

The "session control" is named so because the idea is to allow you to write MIDI controller data in session view, and have that controller data routed to various parameters within a specific Live device.

This MIDI M4L patch combines the idea from another M4L device on this site with the device parameter selection capabilities of the example LFO included with M4L.
