Description

MIDI Controller for the Jomox XBase 888 drum machine.

Usage:

- Put this on a MIDI track together with an external instrument configured for the XBase 888

- Responds to knob changes from the XBase 888 itself

- All parameters from this device are stored when making presets, so this makes it very easy to manage presets for the XBase 888 from within Ableton. Of course all parameters can also be automated in Ableton.

- The 'Send' button sends all parameters (=CC messages) to the XBase 888. This is useful in case the XBase 888 gets desynchronized for whatever reason. I also noticed that M4L sometimes does not send all parameters to the XBase 888 when opening a preset, this might be a little bug in M4L. Also in this case the 'Send' button can solve this problem.

    excellent stuff thanks. I'm using in conjunction with the 999 editor also on here, which shows flashing led's for instrument hits.Great stuff though thanks

    Question:
    The controller responds top all knob changes of the 888 excepth the sample knob of the HiHat, Clap, Rim Shot, Crash and Ride. Do you know why?

    Hey hi do you still pass by sometimes ? i looked at some place to reach you but i can't seems to and github doesnt allow internal messages
