gd-frigid is a Max For Live device that I originally created in the Max/MSP Pluggo environment (called gd-panda) around 2003 & updated for M4L in 2024. This is another type of spectral freezing effect. You can freeze the incoming audio or resynthesize it as sine waves (audio / sines). There are three freezing settings (cold / frigid / frozen). The sine threshold determines the resynthesis level. and the sine transposition levels are separate for L / R channels. These 3 parameters only work when you are in “sines” mode.
