Description

This Max for Live device is an audio effect that allows you to analyze the audio spectrum of your audio source live.

You can use it as a freeze, or as a live effect and give a specific character to your sound.

The audio input is divided into 3 bands with a different filter on each of them (the sound passes trough the filter before spectral analysis). Each band can be freezed independently and be pitched up or down.

This device uses a buffer of which the size can be set to give different results. When freezed, you can use the « pos » control to choose what part of the buffer you want to play.

You can also randomize this pos parameter with the « random: on/off » controls. This randomization is synced to Ableton’s transport and can be set to different time quantizations.

Have fun!

I'd like to second the rad notion.   Amazing device, I have only played with it for 30 secs but wanted to come back here before I forget to say thanks!
