Description

Photomat converts pixel values of any image into musical information. Play with image settings such as color balance, hue, brightness, contrast, and saturation and watch your MIDI change accordingly. Solo a specific color channel, try luminance mode for extreme values, or use polyphonic mode to generate chords by harnessing each color channel simultaneously. Adjust resolution, then zoom in and drag the image around to explore different patterns in different sections of an image. Finally, switch to notes mode to access all the same sonification range controls found in Dataforge and Typewriter. Explore the endless patterns hidden in every image.
